step inside the LKR ROOM

Meet your business mentors and learn about the online community with the tools and support you need to scale your business.

Gone are the days when entrepreneurship was just for the Old Boys Club

If you have ever felt like an outsider in the business world, like you needed to fight twice as hard just to be taken seriously, this community is for you.

As mentors for women-owned businesses, we believe in making business skills accessible for everyone, not just the ones who had a head start.

You’ve Done The Work

You have the knowledge and expertise in your field. But your degree didn’t give you the skills to start a business and the places where you could learn, feel out of reach.

You aren’t sure where to turn. Most people in your circle do not understand your business goals. Maybe you are at the point where you’ve wasted time and money on business decisions and approaches that didn’t work.

That’s exactly why we started the LKR ROOM. We know how hard it is to get in the right rooms to learn the skills you need to build a successful business.

The LKR ROOM is here to break down these barriers.

What we DON’T believe

  • Just “manifesting your success”
  • Gatekeeping business skills
  • One size fits all business coaching
  • Flying blind & hoping something works

What we DO believe

  • Mindset work that isn’t all “woo woo”
  • Accessible services & community
  • Individualized support
  • A roadmap tailored to your business

Meet Your Business Mentors

Reilly Beatty

Owner of Steady State Performance Nutrition & Co-Founder of the LKR ROOM

Building my business consistently left me feeling alone and overwhelmed. Having a background in dietetics, I rarely had any exposure to business development and wasted hundreds of hours and dollars on mistakes that could have been easily corrected and avoided with the right resources.

As a prior D1 athlete, I knew that I worked best with a team around me and started surrounding myself with business experts in the field. Not self made coaches but true experts in each pillar of business. I realized how much information had traditionally not been accessible to me and became passionate about sharing this business knowledge with others.

Now, I am a mom, wife, and full time entrepreneur. I have built my nutrition business, Steady State Performance Nutrition, from ground zero to a multi-six figure company. I want to help you do the same.

I would tell past Reilly to believe in herself. Keep it simple and trust your instincts. I didn’t need fancy things to run a successful business. I wasted so much time comparing myself to others and getting caught up in what I “should” be doing rather than what I actually needed for my business. Because I lacked self confidence, I was constantly comparing myself to others in the field and undervaluing my services.

As a mom, I work all the time. I am often the first person awake in the house and the last one going down to sleep. After having my daughter, I went from a morning person to doing my best work in the evenings after everyone’s gone to bed.

If I need to knock something out, you will catch me at a local coffee shop with a cortado and a bakery pastry. There is nothing that helps me get into my work zone more than a good espresso.

Stacie Miller

Corporate Insider & Co-Founder of the LKR ROOM

My career journey has meandered from fitness and the outdoor industry, to big tech companies, small non-profits, startups, consulting, and so many jobs in between. When I graduated college I could never have predicted the twists and turns in my career. While I’m grateful to have gained the expertise that has culminated in a toolkit of hard won business skills around development, marketing, sales, and operations, I don’t think it should be so hard to learn the ins and outs of how to build and grow a successful business.

In our group, I’m your corporate insider, sharing concepts and frameworks that are table stakes in business, often gated behind fancy degrees or big corporate castles. When I started my own consulting company years ago, I quickly realized I didn’t want to consult for big companies, but instead for small ones. The companies that have passion and ingenuity and yet need a little more guidance on the business side to stay in the game.

You need to trust your gut and when in doubt ground your decisions in data as opposed to emotion.

A little bit of both 🙂 My mornings are my personal time for furthering my own education, interests, or projects. My evenings can sometimes be my best creative brainstorming time. It’s always one or the other though, never stretching early mornings and late nights in the same day.

At the coffee shop. There’s nothing like the buzz of people, sounds, smells at a cafe that help me tune out to drop in. A good cup of tea helps too :).
